Scuba Tune Up (refresh your skills)

Minna Islands

We realise that life happens and it can be hard to get diving as often as we would all like to with work and family commitments to live up to as well. Whilst PADI suggest that you should refresh your skills if it's been more than 6 months since you last dived we think this is a bit excessive and to paraphrase Captain Barbosa from Pirates of the Caribbean 'This is more a guideline than an actual rule'.

If you're relatively new to diving it is probably a good idea to refresh your skills after around a year out of the water to ensure your safety and enjoyment in the water. But if you've done hundreds of dives over a number of years you are likely to remember for 2 or 3 years before needing to do so. If it has been more than 3 years since your last dive we require you to take part in this programme to ensure your enjoyment and safety on the dives that you do with us.
